Element Guard Kit

Kit for mounting and safeguarding an electric heating element to a 2 inch tri-clamp flange connector.

The kit comes with the following parts:

• Stainless steel element housing with 2 inch tri-clamp flange connector on both sides and 1 inch female pipe thread in British Standard Pipe (BSP) for taking the electric heating element
• 2 inch stainless steel tri-clamp
• Modified 2 inch stainless steel endcap with gap, grommet and grounding lug
• 2 inch silicone gasket
• 3 pieces copper wire connectors
• Cord grip
• Heat shrink tube

The gap in the endcap allows visible drainage of liquid in case of leakage, and should prevent a short circuit caused by flooding of the element housing. Therefor the endcap has to be mounted with the gap facing downwards.
