Multipurpose filter assembly made of stainless steel in 2 inch, ideal for use as an activated carbon filter for liquids.
Simply fill the whole construct from the 4 x 2 inch reducer (used as a funnel) till the end of the second bend with activated carbon, which is held in place by using three filter disks. The surge breaker acts as outlet and should be filled with filter paper and cotton wool.
The drain valve at the bottom makes it easy to remove remaining liquid without disassembling the unit, and the bottom bend additionally features a thermowell for measuring temperature when cold filtering for best results.
Please be aware that the filter paper, cotton wool, required amount of activated charcoal of around 1 kg and pipe hangers as shown in the product picture are not included in delivery.
