2" Pot Still Basic with Fill Port

Our basic pot still with fill port made of stainless steel in 2 inch is ideal to get you started at a bargain.

This slimmed-down assembly lets you easily perform a stripping run and can be the base for a more sophisticated configuration.

The fill port is of great advantage when mounting this pot still on a keg that has no other openings, and can be used to hold the collection vessel if having our product collection kit as well as shown in the picture.

Since there is no copper component included, one usually wants to fill the pipe section and/or bend with copper mesh for neutralizing harmful substances.

The downcoming arm features our short pipe based product condenser and surge breaker.

Please be aware that this is only a suggested configuration. Due to the modularity countless possible variations unfold to adjust such pot still to local conditions. This is especially true on the down-arm with the product condenser to bring, for example, the product collection in a suitable position for you. It is also a good idea, to order some essential spare parts and accessories in addition.

The pot still in the form as shown can indeed be mounted directly on a 2 inch tri-clamp connection of a boiler, but usually an additional pipe section or reducer is used in between, depending on the used boiler and desired overall height of the structure, which in particular is of advantage in case of foaming boiler content as well. Depending on the circumstances, it may be that the boiler is in the way of the down-facing arm, which can easily be solved by using additionally available components.

Please be aware that the necessary items for the cooling system are not included in delivery, and have to be ordered separately.
