The lower outlet with ball valve serves as bypass for separating foreshots and heads.

Tip: Order some essential spare parts and accessories in addition, such as more gaskets or hydrometer. The bypass for separating foreshots and heads can be equipped at will after the valve, for example with a ferrule for draining directly into a vessel, or with an adapter for connecting a hose.
